Fairy Flowers

Fairy Flowers

I love Spring – it is such an uplifting season. It even has a joyful name! As I was walking home from church with a young girl on Sunday we noticed that blossom is beginning to appear on some of the trees and a couple of daffodils have sprung up. It seems a little early and cold still…

…our solution to this was that they must be fairy flowers.

These signs of Spring reminded me of the festive celebrations we are approaching. As Easter draws ever nearer these signs were a reminder to me that Lent is well on its way now. It is almost as if nature is anticipating what is to come.

It makes Easter seem sooner, more exciting, and brighter like the daffodils.

A voice says, “Cry out.” And I said, “What shall I cry?” “All people are like grass, and all human faithfulness is like the flowers of the field.” – Isaiah 40:6

Join me for more in the Easter lead up as I post for the 40 days of Lent!
